Vide this Application, the Applicant seeks permission to spend the amount for the purpose of Canvass Proofing.

This Court on 14th January 2015 had allowed the Applicant to advertise the tender as per the resolution and also permitted to take further steps for finalizing the contract. It was stated that before awarding contract, the Petitioner shall take permission of the Court. The Applicant has received three tenders. The lowest is of R.K. Sawant, Civil Contractor, Nashik for an amount of Rs.3,51,86,896/-.

Mr. Talekar, learned counsel for Respondents submits that the Applicant should get

the quality of work verified.

As R.K. Sawant, Civil Contractor, Nashik is the lowest, we permit the Applicant to award tender for the purpose of Canvass Proofing at three water reservoirs located at Kankuri. The Applicant shall see that the quality of work is adhered and shall get the work certified through a Government recognized engineer.

The Civil Application disposed of, accordingly.
