I have heard learned counsel for the applicant for some time. Learned counsel, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw this application. Learned counsel for the applicant, however, submits that the applicant is in jail in connection with the present crime for a considerable period and the prosecution case entirely rests upon the circumstantial evidence and there is no direct evidence in this case. Learned counsel submits that necessary direction may be given to the trial court to dispose of the case expeditiously. 2.

Leave granted. The application is disposed of as withdrawn. 3.

The trial court is hereby directed to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of nine months from the date of this order.
