Considering the nature of controversy raised by the petitioners, we are of the opinion that a writ or direction cannot be issued by this Court exercising jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Several disputed questions of facts are involved in the matter and the petitioners would be well advised to approach the Competent Civil Court to have their grievance redressed. 2.

The writ petition is dismissed. The petitioners are at liberty to avail of the aforesaid remedy in accordance with law. 3.
