These civil applications are filed seeking condonation of delay of 447 days caused in filing the first appeals. The notice of sole respondent is returned unserved as he reported to be dead. 2.

This Court has considered the applications and judgment and award impugned in the appeals. The civil applications are pending since 2009. In other appeals from the same group this

3 16-CA 9517-2009.odt Court has already passed order today upholding the impugned judgment and award. The learned Reference Court has granted rate of Rs. 3000/- per R and enhanced the compensation under such circumstances. This Court does not find any purpose in keeping the appeals and present applications pending. 3.

The civil applications, therefore, are dismissed. Consequently, the first appeals also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
