Heard the learned counsel for the applicant. By way of application, the applicant has prayed for condonation of delay that is caused in filing leave to appeal against the acquittal. She states that there is delay of 21 days caused in filing the leave to appeal. She states that the applicant is an old lady and suffers from various ailments and therefore, could not take steps immediately to file an application for seeking leave to appeal. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondents vehemently opposed the application stating that there is no sufficient

Considering the reasons for delay and considering the facts that the applicant is an old lady and she is not feeling well the delay deserves to be condoned. It is also seen that delay is hardly of 21 days. Hence, the application is allowed. Delay is condoned. Office to register the application for leave to file appeal against the acquittal. The application is disposed of. 4.

Place the appeal on 30-09-2022.
