In view of the Apex Court judgment in case of Anil Kumar Vs. State of Haryana, AIR 2023 Supreme Court 1759, the issue stands concluded. The period of interim parole granted to the prisoners on account of Covid-19 pandemic, has been directed to be excluded from counting the period of actual imprisonment. In view of the same, the petitions stand disposed of.
