Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent State.

The facts have been discussed in detail in the order dated 22.06.2022. Considering the facts of the case, the learned counsel for the applicant prays to confirm the interim protection. 3.

The learned APP has strongly opposed the application. She has argued that the victim was highly unprotected in the family of the applicant. The applicant being husband never supported the victim and saved from the clutches of his father. The applicant was not responding the victim and asking her to ask his father about marriage. Apart from that, he was harassing her for the demand of dowry. All the family members and applicant were

913-ABA-769-22.odt asking the victim to bring amount of Rs.25 Lakhs from her parents for purchasing a plot.

The Court has considered the facts in detail. It has come on record that the victim did not attend the Women Cell and therefore the dispute could not be resolved. Considering the nature of the dispute, it appears that the applicant was not willing to marry her and he has expressed before her that he married her on the say of his father. This may be the reason for matrimonial discord. 5.

Considering the allegations levelled against the applicant, this Court is of the view that the applicant has a good case for anticipatory bail. Hence, the following order :- i) The application is allowed.

ii) The order granting interim protection to the applicant by the order of this Court, dated 22.06.2022, is confirmed on the same terms and conditions.
