The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that within a year after retirement of petitioner No.2, petitioner No.1 made an application to appoint him in place of her mother as per Government Resolution dated 21.10.2011. Though the application is pending for more than four years, no order has been passed by respondent No.2. 2.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for all respondents.

In case the application filed by the petitioner No.1 for his appointment in place of his mother as per Government Resolution dated 21.10.2011 is pending, then respondent No.2 shall decide the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and policy, preferably within a period of four (04) months from today. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
