Petitioners' application for rectification, effecting necessary corrections in original record of land Gut No.508 of village Chikalthana, District Aurangabad is pending before the Deputy Director of Land Records, Aurangabad Region, Aurangabad since 11.2.2020.

In view thereof and while granting prayer (D) of the petition, we direct the concerned Authority to decide the said application within a period of one year from the date of receipt of present order.

While passing the aforestated direction, we are not oblivious of the fact that, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the functioning of the various Government establishments was affected for want of presency of sufficient staff. However, as the prayer of the petitioners is innocuous in nature, we have passed the aforestated direction.
