The grievance of the petitioners is in respect of failure of the State Government to take decision on the proposal tendered by petitioners in the year 2014 seeking permission to open Marathi Medium Secondary school at village Kaudgaon, Tq. Gangakhed, Dist. Parbhani. Petitioners submit that inspite of tendering proposal in the year 2014, no decision has been taken by respondent authorities. It is the contention of petitioners that since petitioners have tendered proposal in prescribed form together with requisite fees, it was incumbent upon the State Authorities to take decision in the matter.

In the facts of this case, this petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to respondents to take decision on the proposal tendered by petitioners as referred to above, as expeditiously as possible, preferably by

wp7305.15.doc the end of May 2016, in accordance with the relevant rules, regulations and the policy adopted by the State Government in respect of according permission to open schools and, it is accordingly directed. Writ petition stands disposed of.
