1] Heard learned counsel for the applicants/appellants - Acquiring Body. Perused the application.

2] In view of the nature of subject matter, I do not find any impediment to grant stay to the execution and implementation to the impugned award passed in Land Acquisition Reference Petition No. 485 of 1998. Hence, the execution and implementation to the impugned award is hereby stayed subject to condition that the appellant - Acquiring Body shall deposit the entire decretal amount

2 CA 7871/17 awarded by the Reference Court, alongwith interest accrued thereon in this appeal, within a period of four weeks. On failure to deposit the amount within the stipulated period, the stay granted shall stand automatically vacated, with liberty to the claimants to take recourse of law for recovery of amount within ambit of law. Civil application for stay stands disposed of accordingly.
