These are the applications for condonation of delay of 1234 days in preferring appeals against the impugned judgment and award passed by the reference Court under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act. 3.

The learned advocate for the Acquiring Body strongly opposes the applications on the ground that the delay has not been properly explained.

After having heard both the sides and after going through the reasons mentioned in the application in my considered view it is just and 1/2

25.CA.8104.17.odt appropriate case wherein the delay can be condoned when the applicants would not have gained anything by causing delay. 5.

The applications are allowed. The delay is condoned subject to the condition that the applicants shall not be entitled to claim any interest for the period of delay of 1234 days.
