JUNE 26, 2024 ORDER :- This application is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, for quashing of the FIR bearing Crime No.366 of 2020, registered with Police Station, Sarangkheda, Dist. Nandurbar, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 406, 323, 504 and 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the applicants, who are husband and in-laws of respondent no.2 - wife (informant), submits that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties. He submits that applicant no.1 and respondent no.2 have got the decree of dissolution of marriage with consent in Hindu Marriage Petition No.154 of 2020.

Learned counsel for respondent no.2 submits that the matter has been amicably settled. The Court of 2nd Jt. Civil Judge, Senior Division, Aurangabad, has granted the decree of dissolution of their marriage. He submits that he has instructions from respondent no.2 - wife (informant) that this application may be disposed of, since the parties have compromised the matter. 4.

Learned APP for respondent no.1-State opposes the application.

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the applicants and respondent no.2 and the nature of the offence, we allow the application in terms of prayer clause (B), subject to costs of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand), to be deposited by the applicants with the Bar Library, within one week.
