Heard learned Advocate Mr. Shaikh through Video

cwp-1045.24 Conferencing. He submits that the petitioners had approached this Court to ban the proposed release of Hindi feature film/movie namely 'Hum Barah' (Hum Do Hamare Barah), which was scheduled on 7th June 2024 with consequential reliefs. 2.

However, one Petition was filed before the Hon'ble Supreme Court bearing Writ Petition (Civil) No.956 of 2020 (Firoz Iqbal Khan vs. Union of India and others) wherein, by order dated 15th September 2020, interim order has been granted and the said matter is in respect of the same feature film. Thus, the matter is before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. 3.

In view of the said fact that the matter is already before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the learned Advocate for the petitioners, upon instructions, seeks withdrawal of the Petitions. We allow him to withdraw the Petition with liberty to approach this Court if occasion arises in future.
