Heard learned Counsel for the applicant/convict and the learned A.P.P. for State.

The applicant has been convicted by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Vaijapur in Sessions Case No.42 of 2014 vide judgment dated 13.05.2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 306, 498-A and 323 of the Indian Penal Code and has been sentenced

to a maximum period of seven years rigorous imprisonment.

Undisputedly, the applicant/appellant was on bail during pendency of the trial. The appellant has come with this appeal with a strong hope that he would succeed therein. Since the applicant was on bail during pendency of the appeal, I do not find any impediment in granting him the relief of bail during pendency of the appeal. Hence the order :

ORDER

1.

The applicant be released on bail in sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rs. Fifteen thousand) with the surety in the like amount during pendency of the appeal and in the meanwhile, the substantive sentence of imprisonment passed against him shall stand suspended.

2.

The bail bonds be furnished before the trial Court.

3.

The application stands disposed of.

4.

The applicant shall act upon authenticated copy of this order.
