Though the respondent No. 2 is served, none appears for the respondent No. 2.

It is submitted that, award has been passed under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 on 22nd February, 2019, however, as yet amount of compensation as per the award passed by the Special Land Acquisition Officer is not paid to the petitioner.

In case there is no impediment and the award dated 22nd February, 2019 is in force, then the respondents shall make

2 wp 8057.21 payment to the petitioner as per the award, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from today. 4.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
