This petition is challenging interim order passed by the learned JMFC, Selu in PWDVA No.13 of 2020 granting interim maintenance at the rate of Rs.7000/- per month to the respondent wife. The said order was challenged before the learned Sessions Judge and the same was confirmed. 02.
Since the order impugned is interim order, this Court feels that this petition can be disposed off by directing the petitioner husband to clear 50% of the total arrears as of today. Request is also made to expedite the hearing of the proceeding in PWDVA No.13 of 2020 pending in the Court of JMFC, Court No.2, Selu.

Thus, the criminal writ petition is disposed off subject to condition of depositing 50% of the arrears of maintenance as of today in the Trial Court. The first installment of 25% shall be deposited within two weeks from today and another 25% shall be deposited within four weeks from today.
