Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioner would file comprehensive representation to the District Collector, Nanded, within a period of two weeks from today, thereby praying for initiation of Land Acquisition Proceedings so as to acquire the land, which is the subject matter of the present petition.

In case such an application/representation is filed by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today, the District Collector, Nanded shall look into the same and direct the concerned to visit the spot and ascertain the position and thereafter take an appropriate decision on the said representation keeping in view the report forwarded by the Mandal Adhikari, Bodhadi (Bk.), Tq. Kinwat, Dist. Nanded, dt. 04.03.2016 to the Tahsildar and the relevant provisions, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today. We, however, make it clear that, we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. 4.

Writ Petition stands disposed of in above terms. 5.
