Heard learned counsel appearing for the Applicant and learned counsel appearing for the State.

At the outset, learned A.P.P. appearing for the State submits that charge-sheet came to be filed in the present case as back as in the year 2007 and the recording of evidence is in progress. This position is not disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the Applicant.

In that view of the matter, we are not able to persuade ourselves to entertain this Application by exercising inherent powers under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The Criminal Application stands rejected.
