The petitioners are objecting to the notice issued under section 32 (A) (2) of Bombay Stamp Act, 1958 dated 30.01.2017 by the Collector and seeking its quashment and for setting aside the same. It is the contention of the petitioners that the notice is illegal. It would be open for the petitioners to tender their reply to the notice and substantiate their contentions. The time for presentation of the reply by the petitioners is extended by three weeks.

The Collector, after receiving the reply that would be tendered by the petitioners within the aforesaid period, shall take appropriate decision in the matter in accordance with provisions of law.
