Mr. Thorat, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the amount of scholarship is not released to the petitioner only on the ground that validity certificate is not submitted. The validation proceeding was initially filed in the year - 2014, however, there is a mistake in the tribe certificate. After obtaining the fresh tribe certificate, the proceeding is filed in February - 2019 and the same is pending.

The learned A.G.P., on instructions, submits that the said proceeding is pending at the stage of vigilance.

The grant of scholarship would depend upon the validity being issued to the petitioner.

Considering the above, respondent no. 4 / Scheduled Tribe Certificate Verification Committee, Aurangabad shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 01.07.2019. Till the validation proceeding is decided, the respondents shall not take adverse action against the petitioner only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
