The applicant is seeking regular bail in Crime no. 4 of 2016 registered at Sirsala Police Station, Tq. Dharur, Dist. Beed for the offences punishable under section 498-A, 323, 504, 304-B, 306 r/w. 34 of the Indian Penal Code, for alleged incidents dated 1/7/2014 to 31/1/2016, for which crime came to be registered on 2/2/2016.

Perused the contents of the FIR. Applicant is husband of victim and victim in her FIR has stated that it is she, who poured kerosene on her body and set herself on fire.

Only cause for taking such step, by the victim is assault by the applicant. In my opinion, further detention of the applicant is not warranted, as the investigation in the matter is already complete and chargesheet is filed. Hence, the following order:- 5.
The applicant be released on bail in Crime no. 4 of 2016 registered with Sirsala Police Station, Tq. Dharur, Dist. Beed for the offences punishable under section 498-A, 323, 504, 304-B, 306 r/w. 34 of the Indian Penal Code, upon his executing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rs. Fifteen Thousand) with one surety in the like amount.

The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence or influence the witnesses in any manner.

The applicant shall co-operate in trial and shall not seek unnecessary exemptions. The applicant shall not protract the trial.

Any attempt on the part of the applicant to protract the trial, if noticed by the learned Court below, it shall be open for the Court below to proceed with cancellation of bail of the applicant. 9.
Criminal Application stands disposed of accordingly.
