Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.P. Para 6 and 7 of the affidavit reads thus : "6. I say and submit that, the Respondent No. 2 has issued letter dated 12.07.2021 to all the District Collectors and all the respective Divisional Commissioners in the entire State of Maharashtra with regard to filling up post of Talathi in the year 2019, thereby directing to forthwith implement the policy decision as per Government Resolution dated 0507.2021 & 06.07.2021. The copy of the said letter dated 12.07.2021 is annexed herewith and marked as Exhibit R-2 for kind perusal of this Hon'

I say and submit that, the policy decision to

WP No.7596/2021 fill up/convert the posts reserved for SEBC category into EWS/open category has been taken by the State Government through various Government Resolutions and the said policies have been brought to the notice of all the concerned Collectors including Respondent No3 from time to time with directions to implement the said policies which are binding on them."

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the respondents be directed to adhere to the averments made in the affidavit reproduced above, adhering to the same would redress the grievance of the petitioner.

As the statement has been made on affidavit, naturally the respondents are bound by it and respondents would adhere to it. Considering the aforesaid affidavit, the necessary steps be taken by the respondents.
