The petitioner is elected councillor of Respondent Municipal Council. The petitioner has been elected from reserved category. The caste claim of the petitioner has been referred to the Committee for validation. The said proceedings are still pending. The petitioner apprehends
2 W.P.No.6771/17 action against him on account of non-submission of validity within six (6) months.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the judgment of the Full Bench of this Court is stayed in SLP (Civil) Nos.2987429875 of 2016. 3.
As yet, no proceedings seems to have been initiated against the petitioner. In case some proceedings are initiated, the petitioner can show the judgment of the Apex Court, naturally, the authorities are bound to consider the same.

The Committee shall decide the validation proceedings of the caste claim of the petitioner within six (6) months.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
