DATED : 26th JUNE, 2015 P.C. :- 1.
The grievance of the petitioners with regard to acceptance of preference form now does not survive in view of the notification issued by the Government treating the candidates from Scheduled Tribe category at par with other backward category candidates. 2.
In all these matters, the validation proceedings in respect of tribe claim of respective petitioners are pending with the committee. Learned counsel for the committee submit that it would take some time to decide the said pending proceedings. Considering the above, we pass the following order:-
-4O R D E R I.
The Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of tribe claim of the petitioners, expeditiously and preferably within a period of one year. The petitioners shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of the validation proceedings.
II.
The writ petitions are accordingly disposed of. No costs. ( V. K. JADHAV, J.) ( S. V. GANGAPURWALA, J. ) rlj/
