The petition is filed for seeking direction to the respondents to give benefit of Assured Career Progress Scheme to the petitioners on the ground that they have completed twelve years of service on their respective posts. It is their contention that they became entitled to this benefit 2/3 years back; however, their cases are not yet considered. They have also filed representations with respondent No. 1 in this regard.

A copy of the Government Resolution dated 30th April, 1998, as modified from time to time, showing the

wp6152-2016 entitlement to the aforesaid benefit, is produced on record. In view of this circumstance, the respondents are hereby directed to consider the cases of the petitioners for giving the benefit of the Assured Career Progress Scheme, as per the relevant Government Resolution/s applicable, within a period of four months from today. With these directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
