The learned Assistant Government Pleader on instructions submits that, within 15 days, the committee would decide the proposal forwarded by the Municipal Council seeking promotional benefits to the petitioner.

In view of the said statement, writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.

Till the proposal is decided the recruitment pursuant to the notification dated 09.04.2019 in respect of the posts which the petitioner is seeking promotion shall not be made. However, the

2 wp 9259.19 process pursuant to the said notification may go on. Actual orders may not be issued. Till the proposal for promotion is decided, the fresh persons shall not be appointed on the post on which the petitioner is seeking promotion.
