Having perused the investigation papers, I hardly see any material on record to prima facie infer that the applicant has actively participated in the crime in question. The applicant, who is a student, with no criminal antecedents, in my opinion, needs to be released on anticipatory bail.

In view thereof, the ad-interim order granting pre-arrest bail to the applicant, on 13th June, 2016 is confirmed for the above reasons.

The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on 1st July, 2016 and 2nd July, 2016 between 10 am and 12 noon and, thereafter, as and when called by the Investigating Officer.
