The award in respect of the acquired land has been declared in the year 1992. The petitioner claims that he has not been paid compensation in respect of pipeline, constructed well, stone bandh5000 feet as well as fruit bearing trees. It was open for the petitioner to present Reference Application and claim the compensation for the aforesaid items.

Having failed to avail of remedy provided in law, the petitioner cannot be permitted to raise grievance in this petition by invoking extra-ordinary jurisdiction of the High Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, after lapse of 26 years. 3.
