Perusal of the writ petition shows that application pursuant to Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, based on award dated 14.06.2002 is claimed to have been lodged on 05.08.2002 for enhancement of compensation and that the same has not been decided yet. In the circumstances, concerned authority to proceed with the application for enhancement of compensation pursuant to Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, if it complies with the requirements therefor and decide the same, if already not decided, as early as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of writ of this order, by giving notice to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of.
