Though the respondent No. 2 is served, none appears for respondent No. 2.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though the matter is settled in Lok Adalat in February 2017, the amount of compensation is not yet paid. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that amount of compensation is required to be paid within six months from the date of settlement in the Lok Adalat.

In case, there is no impediment and the settlement in

WP No.8201/21 Lok Adalat is in force, then respondents shall make payment to the petitioner as per the settlement arrived at before the Lok Adalat, preferable within six months.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
