The petition is directed against the order passed by the learned Additional Commissioner, Nashik Division, Nashik thereby granting stay to the order passed by the learned Collector, Ahmednagar dated 22.05.2023 declaring respondent No. 6 as disqualified to become a member of the Grampanchayat on the ground of committing encroachment provided under Section 14 (1) (j-3) Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act.

This Court finds that, the petition can be disposed off even without issuing notice to the private respondents. Learned A.G.P.

In view of this, the petition can be conveniently disposed off by requesting learned Additional Commissioner, Nashik Division, Nashik to decide the Grampanchayat Appeal No. 69/2003 as early as possible and by the end of September 2023.
