The Petitioners'

grievance is that the District Collector has not decided the issue of disqualification of elected members under section 10(1) (A) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act on the ground of failure to tender validity certificates.

The learned AGP submits that an order has been passed by the District Collector, Parbhani dated 7th June, 2023 by which 200 elected members/Sarpanch/Upsarpanch have been disqualified as they failed to tender their validity certificates within the prescribed time. The name of Respondent No. 4 is at Sr. No.104.

In view of the above, this petition is rendered infructuous and stands disposed off.
