Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner and the learned A.G.P. for the respondent No. 1.

The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondent No. 1 to take a decision on a proposal of the petitioner for establishment of a college/educational institute as per the recommendation of the respondent No. 2-University. The university has given a positive recommendation as per the Government resolution dated 15.09.2017 vide letter dated 04-05-2023 (Exh. 'C'), which has already been forwarded to the Government and the petitioner has been informed about it by the respondent No. 2-University.

It does appear that the University has given a positive recommendation and the matter is pending with the State Government as has been informed to the petitioner by the respondent No. 2-University vide the aforementioned communication.

In case, such a proposal is pending with the Government and has not been already considered and decided, it shall be considered as expeditiously as possible and in any event before 31.08.2023. 5.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
