Present proceeding is filed by the prisoner for seeking direction against the respondents that they should take decision on the representation, proposal made for his premature release. He is sentenced to life imprisonment and it is his contention that the

2 Cri. W.P. No. 1082/2020 representation was sent to the authority in the month of August 2019 but as yet no decision is taken on the representation and the proposal made by the Jail Authority. In view of this circumstance, this Court is hereby directing the respondents to take decision on the proposal submitted in respect of the petitioner, within four weeks from today. In view of the above, the petition stands disposed of. 2.
