DATE : 09 JULY 2024 ORDER :- The petitioners - Management and Headmaster are before us being aggrieved by the fact that the salary bills were not being processed by the Education Department.

We have heard both the sides.

The parties are ad-idem that to the extent of salaries of the other staff members nothing survives. They have been subsequently paid salaries and the arrears.

They submit that the issue was merely pertaining to the petitioner No.2, who stands superannuated and is awaiting pensionary benefits and arrears of salary.

Learned Advocate for the respondent No.2 Education Officer (Primary) places before us a copy of the communication dated 20.05.2024, whereby the Education Officer has called upon the Headmaster of the respondent No.2 School expressly referring to the petitioner No.2 Headmaster, who was the Headmaster at the time of filing of the petition, to process the bills in respect of arrears of his pay as also the pension [2]
papers.

Since the petitioner No.2 Headmaster must have been replaced by the incumbent Headmaster or any In-charge Headmaster, the petitioners would oblige the Education Officer in response to this communication and process the salary bills and pension papers, which the Education Officer is ready to scrutinize and take ahead.

In the light of above, nothing survives. The writ petition is disposed of.
