Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner, learned A.G.P. and learned advocate Mr. Kore who appears for respondent No.7. 2.

The petitioner and the respondent No.7 are before the learned Minister in a Revision which is awaiting decision. The parties are unanimous that instead of deciding this petition independently it would be apposite to direct the parties to maintain the status quo in respect of possession as well as mutation record of the property in dispute and direct the learned Minister to decide the main proceeding at the earliest. The request is innocuous. The Writ Petition is disposed of with a specific understanding that the parties would maintain status quo not only in respect of possession but even in respect of the Revenue Record. The learned Minister is requested to decide the main proceeding as early as possible and in any case within a period of 8 weeks.
