Heard Mr. Golegaonkar, the learned Counsel for the petitioner.

Mr. Patil, the learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submits that initially, the vigilance report was not satisfactory. As such, the Committee has referred the matter again for the vigilance and the Committee would positively decide the proceedings within a period of six months.

Considering the statement made by the learned Additional

2 907-WP-6564-2011 Government Pleader, we dispose of the Writ Petition with directions that the respondent Committee shall decide the proceedings within a period of six months.

The petitioner shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of the proceedings. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 29th April, 2019.

The employer may not take adverse action against the petitioner only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. However, the employer may proceed further in tune with the Judgment that would be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceedings. No costs.
