The proceedings u/s 39(1) of the Maharashtra Village Gram Panchayats Act is pending before the Divisional Commissioner, since January 2023. It is stated that the report of the C.E.O. is received by the Office of the Divisional Commissioner, in January 2024. The learned AGP submits that the proceedings would be decided within 60 days.

In view of the above statement, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
