Learned Counsel appearing for the Scrutiny Committee states that the proposal transmitted to the Committee by the employer i.e. the Zilla Parishad in the year 1999 is not traceable in the Office and, as such, the decision in respect of validation of caste certificate of the petitioner could not be taken. 2.

Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner undertakes to tender a proposal in the prescribed proforma to the Committee within a period of four weeks from today. The Committee shall accept the proposal directly from the petitioner and shall proceed to undertake the exercise of verification of the tribe certificate and take appropriate decision in the matter in observance of the procedure prescribed under the law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of the proposal. agp/-

During the pendency of the proposal for verification of the tribe certificate, and subject to decision thereon by the Scrutiny Committee, no adverse action shall be taken against the petitioner only on account of his failure to submit validation certificate.

With the directions as above, the writ petition stands disposed of.
