Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 were present in the Court on 16.07.2024. Today, Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 are present before the Court.

The Co-ordinate Bench of this Court has passed an order on 07.03.2024, in Writ Petition No. 562 of 2021. In the operative part of the order, clause 3 indicates that the DCPS account number was to be granted to Petitioner No.2 within 15 days and the due salary was to be paid within one month from the date of granting the DCPS account

903-CP-529-24 number. The DCPS account was granted on 02.04.2024. Regular salary is now been paid from March- 2024.

Today, the learned AGP places before us a Communication dated 19.07.2024 (with all documents), which is taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification. We are informed that the amounts for clearing the arrears of salary would be deposited with Respondent No.1 within 30 days from today.

In view of the same, we direct Respondent No. 4 to ensure that the arrears are disbursed to the Petitioner within 15 days from the date of receipt of the funds.

We further make it clear that if any of the above directions are not complied with, the act of the concerned Officer shall be considered as an aggravated contempt.
6.
In view of the above, the contempt is purged and the Petition is disposed off.
