Although initially leave was sought to challenge the order dated 5 July 2022 passed by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), later on, Mr. Paranjape, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, who is personally present before the court, seeks leave to withdraw the petition as the petitioner intends to approach the Child Welfare Committee in pursuance of the order dated 5 July 2022. In such circumstances, the petition is disposed of as withdrawn.

The petitioner and respondent No.3 shall appear before the C.W.C. either personally or through their counsel or properly constituted attorneys on Wednesday, 13 July 2022.

The C.W.C. shall pass appropriate orders after hearing the parties and in accordance with the provisions of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and the 2016 Rules framed thereunder.

The parties to cooperate the C.W.C. for disposal of the matter at the earliest.

We make it clear that we have not examined rival contentions of the parties on merits.
