The petitioners seek directions for deciding the Regular Civil Suit No. 1074 of 2011 pending before the Civil Judge Junior Division, Newasa expeditiously.

We are not aware of the status of the suit. At present, it appears that because of Covid-19 pandemic, further evidence and hearing is not conducted.

It appears that, the suit is pending for more than ten years. If the physical hearing has commenced before the Trial Court, then the Trial Court may endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously and preferably

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
