The grievance of the petitioner is that the award dated 30.04.1996 mentions land Gat No. 51/2 owned by the petitioner. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is owner of land Gat No. 53. There is no land Gut No. 51/2 in the whole village Dhorala. The re-inspection report; measurement by the authorities (Page No. 20) is also submitted , however, the award is not corrected.

The respondent shall after verifying record and the re-measurement done (Page No. 20), take steps to correct the award in accordance with law. The same shall be done expeditiously and preferably within a period of two (02) months. After verifying the record, if the award is corrected, the petitioner will have right to take up appropriate proceedings for enhancement of compensation in accordance with law.

Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
