The learned counsel for petitioners submits that, the petitioners have filed an application U/Sec. 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (page 29) in the year 2012. Same is not yet decided.

In case, application filed by petitioners U/Sec. 28-A of the L. A. Act is pending with the competent authority, then the authority shall decide the same on its own merits, after hearing all the parties concerned, expeditiously and preferably within a period of nine (09) months.
