The learned AGP submits that the amount of compensation can be deposited within a week since the said amount has been sanctioned and received from the Government. The learned AGP submits that the period, which was provided by this Court for depositing the amount has expired and the same needs to be extended so as to enable the Appellant to deposit the amount of compensation.

In view of the submission so made, time for depositing the amount is extended by one week. On deposing of such amount, the execution of the impugned award shall stand stayed till the decision of the appeal. Civil application stands disposed of. [ P. R. BORA, J. ] ndm
