Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioners. The principal prayer in this Petition is that the Respondent No.2 - Collector should consider the representation made by the petitioners in respect of their grievance.

It is correctly pointed out by the learned AGP that the representation itself was placed before Respondents Nos.2 and 3 on 05.06.2025 and the record shows that the affidavit in support of this Writ Petition was sworn the very next day i.e. on 06.06.2025 and the Petition itself came to be filed on 06.06.2025.

We have already noted in a few matters earlier that there is now a tendency amongst litigants before this bench of the High Court to

2 907.WP.7825.25.odt make a beeline to the High Court immediately upon making representations/proposals before the concerned Authority. This is nothing but a tactic to put pressure on the concerned officers to consider their grievances. Some breathing time has to be given to officers who are otherwise also busy in administration and development work. 4.

This petition is a stark example of such tendency of filing petitions immediately upon approaching the authority. As noted herein above, the representation was moved before the Respondent - Collector on 05.06.2025 and immediately on the next day i.e. on 06.06.2025 at 12:53 pm this Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondent - Collector to decide the representation. 5.

There are hardly any supporting documents placed on record and we are unable to understand how the Petitioner can make a grievance against the Respondent - Collector in such facts and circumstances.

The Writ Petition is dismissed. Pending application, if any, also stands dismissed.
