Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

The petitioners are Assistant Teachers working in various Primary Schools under Zilla Parishads in the State of Maharashtra. The basic prayer of the petitioners in the petition is prayer 'A' to direct the respondents to initiate process of inter district transfers in the Zilla Parishad, Nanded , pursuant to

wp6569.18 Government Resolution, dated 24.4.2017 by issuing writ of mandamus or any other writ, direction or order as the case may be.

It may not be necessary for us to refer to voluminous material placed on record in the form of various Government Resolutions, Circulars and communications from one Department to other Department. Suffice it to say, the petition itself can be disposed of by us, in view of the instructions made available to the learned A.G.P.

placed on record communication forwarded to the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad from the Additional Secretary of State of Maharashtra.

Perusal of this communication, dated 31.10.2018 shows that the process of inter District transfer is at Stage 3. It is stated that as a last chance an opportunity is being made available to submit an application seeking

wp6569.18 inter District transfer from 1.11.2018 to 15.11.2018. Learned AGP submits that after complying the formalities and other modalities referred to in the communication, dated 31.10.2018 the process would be concluded, in view of the communication placed on record.

We are of the opinion that, the State Government has initiated the process of inter District transfer and it is now at 3rd stage and within short period the process would be concluded. 6.

As the grievance of the petitioner raised in the petition is now redressed, the petition is disposed of.
