DATED : 20 JUNE 2022 PER COURT:- The grievance in this petition is against respondent nos. 5 to 9, who are police officials. According to the petitioner, he was assaulted in the police station. For grievances of this nature, Division Level Police Complaints Authority is established in Aurangabad under Section 22S of the Maharashtra Police Act. The petitioner will have to approach that authority. Therefore, instead of entertaining this petition, the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the said authority. With these observations, the petition is disposed off. It is made clear that we have not expressed our opinion on the merits.
