The settlement deed specifically reads that the couple has been residing together for last 6 months and is also having a son. 4.

If the couple is happy to lead a marital life, their request to quash the crime no. 159 of 2022 of Pahur Police Station, District - Jalgaon registered at her instance for the offences punishable under

2 Cri. Appln. 2060 / 2022 section 498A, 323, 504, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, is innocuous.

There is nothing on record to show that any public policy is involved or compromise or settlement has some other intention. 6.

We allow the application and quash and set aside the crime no. 159 of 2022 registered with Pahur Police Station, District - Jalgaon for the offences punishable under section 498A, 323, 504, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, and the consequent chargesheet.
